Our experience with Joanne was nothing short of amazing! She is so kind, bubbly and fun. She made the whole process super easy and made me feel at ease about all the details! Let's be honest, most of us are incredibly shy and nervous to step in front of the camera for professional photos because we have no idea what to do... But Joanne gave us lots of direction which made us feel really comfortable and, in the moment... I love that she captured us, exactly the way we are.
I have way too many highlights from our session! It was very memorable... The best moment was Craig gave me a piggy back and he had to bounce whilst I held on tight! Sounds hilarious I know, but the result was amazing – I love the photo so much. Joanne captured such natural smiles from us both.
It was an overwhelming experience trying to find the right photographer for us! There are so many out there so it's hard to find a professional that you can trust with your precious memories. Joanne did not disappoint! She spoke to me prior to the session to make sure we were on the same page and gave me lots of direction on how to prepare and what to expect. We chose Joanne for her friendly nature and style - her photos are like no other!
Professional portraits are incredibly important to me because we change and grow so much over time... I think it's not until someone is no longer with us, that we realise how important it is. Phone photos just don't do it for me either, especially because I upgrade frequently and it's so easy to lose! I would much prefer to invest in some amazing, quality photographs to hang in my home and share with my family.
We chose Howard Springs Pine Forest as we really wanted a dark and moody feel. Perfect for an intimate couple’s session I think! Haha

I purchased an amazing album and wood print in addition to my package because I wanted something tangible. The digital files are great because it allowed me to share and print photos for my friends and family, but the extra products were such amazing quality! Better than I had ever thought, and I get comments on them all the time! Such an amazing feeling!
Don't stress about anything if you are thinking of a session with Joanne Cook Photography! Joanne helped us to overcome all our fears and made the whole experience to be really relaxing! Also, I think it's really good to put lots of thought into how you prepare and what to wear... It really helped us to feel more confident and gave us the look we wanted. It helps to give the husband a beer or two before hand too hahaha
